Hi, I’m Hope — the baker, decorator, and sweet tooth behind Hopey Cakes! Baking has been part of my life since childhood, when I spent hours in the kitchen with my mom and grandma. My grandma was also a cake decorator, and even made her sister’s multi-tiered wedding cake — so you could say it runs in the family! As a teenager, I started dabbling in cake decorating to combine my love for sweets with my creative side. For years, I made cakes for friends and family, always pushing myself to try new designs. Eventually, my husband encouraged me to share my creations with more than just family birthdays — and on July 21, 2023, Hopey Cakes was born!
What started with posting a few photos on Instagram quickly grew into a joyful business where I get to connect with local customers and bring their cake visions to life. Today, I’m still doing what I love most: baking with heart, decorating with creativity, and making life a little sweeter — one cake at a time.
